Fall Festival fun!

Lakeville Elementary held its annual Fall Festival Friday night and what a fun time it was. The kids played all sorts of games that had them munching doughnuts, pulling goo out of the Frankenstein monster’s head and digging for bones in a coffin.  

Prelim. count shows district up 240 FTE students: Oxford Virtual Academy sees highest growth

District officials throughout Oxford tallied their student counts last Wednesday in hopes of a larger check from the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). Based on the unofficial numbers, the district is up approximately 239.69 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) students from last fall, bringing the total count up to 5,917.39. Running for fun and funds

Students from Daniel Axford and Oxford elementary schools participated in their annual Fund Run on Friday. Organized by the PTO, the event features students running laps around a track to raise money for their schools. It’s great exercise, a lot of fun and enables schools to get things they want or need.
