Last week, Oxford High School senior Connor Bandel qualified for the state championships in discus throw and shot put. During the regional competition held at Lake Orion High School, Bandel had a discus throw that measured 189 feet, 2 inches and his shot put distance was 61 feet, 11 inches. Photo by Dan Shriner.

Oxford High’s student body enjoyed a fun spring carnival held at the football stadium on May 11. They played a variety of games, threw cream pies at staff members and stuffed themselves silly with spicy chicken wings during a messy eating contest. For the graduating seniors, it was their last day.
