The Lady Cats won one game and lost two at the April 3 tournament held at Owosso High School, bringing their record to 2-11.
The girls beat Haslett High School 13-4.
Cheryl Banas went 4-5, scored 2 runs and had 1 RBI, Madison Dinges went 1-3, scored 2 runs and had 1 RBI, Skye Donaldson went 3-4, scored 3 runs and had 1 RBI. Jordyn Zyngier had 3 RBIs, Logan Medel went 1-3, Jesse Ubbing went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and Ashley Szymanski went 1-2.
Earlier in the day, the girls? loss to 21st Century Charter 9-3, where Cheryl Banas went 2-2 with 2 runs scored, Skye Donaldson went 2-3, Logan Medel went 2-4 with 1 RBI, and Claire Hermanson had 1 RBI. Owosso also defeated the Lady Wildcats 6-2, where Cheryl Banas went 2-3, Madison Dinges had 1 RBI, and Skye Donaldson went 2-3.
The girls will face off in a doubleheader tonight (May 7) at home against Stoney Creek. The game will begin at 4:30 p.m.
