Charles A. Dodge (Charlie) His yo-yo ran out of string, born 1/14/1933 in Pontiac Mi., passed away 11/14/2023 in Port St. Lucie, FL., where he lived with his beloved wife Jill Fryer Kurkowski Dodge. Survived by his stepchildren: Kristine(David) Mooney Doran, Michael Kurkowski, Vicki(John) Proctor, grandchildern; Michelle(Kevin) Dodge O’Toole, Rachael Dodge, Ryan(Erin) Mooney, Marissa Proctor, Erin Mooney, Justin Proctor and two beautiful great granddaughters. Brothers, D. Michael Dodge and Mark(Michelle) Dodge and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by parents, Vern and Mildred Dodge and Keith and Lucille Tomrell and sister, Sharon Dodge Simmons. Charlie was a member of Oxford, MI class of 1952. Proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 1991 from Ford Motor Co., Michigan Proving Grounds as a Sound Technician. Honorable member of the V.F.W. Post 318, Port St. Lucie. He will be remembered on Bocce courts in Naples and Port St. Lucie, Fl., and as the lotto scratch king.
