Charles A. Dodge (Charlie) His yo-yo ran out of string, born 1/14/1933 in Pontiac Mi., passed away 11/14/2023 in Port St. Lucie, FL., where he lived with his beloved wife Jill Fryer Kurkowski Dodge. Survived by his stepchildren: Kristine(David) Mooney Doran, Michael Kurkowski, Vicki(John) Proctor, grandchildern; Michelle(Kevin) Dodge O’Toole, Rachael Dodge, Ryan(Erin) Mooney, Marissa Proctor, Erin Mooney, Justin Proctor and two beautiful great granddaughters. Brothers, D. Michael Dodge and Mark(Michelle) Dodge and many nephews and nieces. Preceded by parents Vern and Mildred Dodge, Keith and Lucille Tomrell, sister Sharon Dodge Simmons and his pride and joy son Phillip K. Dodge. Charlie was a member of Oxford, MI class of 1952. Proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 1991 from Ford Motor Co., Michigan Proving Grounds as a Sound Technician. Honorable member of the V.F.W. Post 318, Port St. Lucie. He will be remembered on Bocce courts in Naples and Port St. Lucie, Fl., and as the lotto scratch king. A remembrance in his name would be appreciated to Treasure Coast Hospice-Port Saint Lucie, Fl.
