Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ (UCC) in Oxford Village will host a pancake breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 12 to raise funds for the VFW National Home for Children.

Breakfast, which will run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. will include buttermilk, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes, sausages and beverages. Cost is $6 per person. Children under the age of 2 will eat free. Take-out is available, but please call ahead to (248) 628-1610.

After breakfast, head over to Centennial Park in downtown Oxford for the Downtown Development Authority’s Scarecrow Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
