Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Director Ron Davis was presented with the Fellowship Award at the 2020 mParks Conference on Jan. 30, in Novi. According to mParks, the Fellowship Award is presented to those who consistently demonstrate significant investment, support and guidance to fellow professionals. Honorees like Davis exemplify the highest level of professionalism in their own organization, within the mParks membership and the profession as a whole.
The event is a place where Michigan’s parks and rec professionals can learn, network and create a community through “people, parks and programs.” Davis has been at the helm of the Oxford parks and recreation department since 1995.
