Ortonville-Jet’s Pizza has landed in the village.
The new business, 11 Ortonville Road opened March 31 and is one of 100 Jet’s Pizza franchises in Michigan and Florida. A grand opening is planned for April 17.
Manager Nick Agar said on the first day of business, more than 250 orders were made.
‘It was absolute madness,? said Agar, who noted the next nearest Jet’s Pizza is in Waterford. ‘A lot of people said it was a long time coming? they wanted a Jet’s in this area. There are a lot of fans here.?
Jet’s Pizza replaces Little Caesar’s at the corner of Ortonville Road and Mill Street. Pizzas sized small through extra large are available. Their famous pizzas include ‘Hawaiian Special,? ‘Chicken Parmesan,? ‘Super Special? and ‘The Everything.?
Jet’s offers three different kinds of chicken wings (Barbecue, Italian, Hot and Spicy), chicken tenders, Jet’s bread and cinnamon sticks. Jet or Deli Boats are freshly baked pizza dough stuffed with various toppings. A selection of subs and salads are also available.
Agar says Jet’s uses only the best ingredients? 100-percent real mozzarella, fresh vegetables and high quality meats. Dough is made fresh daily.
‘We are unique because of the amount of care we put into our product and customers,? said owner Rene Bockart.
