David Pawlaczyk, of Oxford, died Jan. 16, 2017. He was 76.

Born September 15, 1940 in Detroit to the late Casmir and Amelia (nee: Kowalski) Pawlaczyk. He married Mary Jean Russell on June 4, 1963 in Lincoln Park.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Jean Pawlaczyk; two daughters, Mary Frances (Paul) Staffhorst and Carolyn (John) Stickney; one son, Stephen (Nicole) Pawlaczyk; seven grandchildren, Amelia Boomer, Nicholas, Samuel and Liliana Stickney, Nathan, David and Karlie Pawlaczyk. David was a member of Hillside Bible Church, 173 Church St., Ortonville where his funeral service was held Jan. 21. Pastor Cliff Powell officiated.

Interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Oxford.
