DDA eyes Main Street project

Ortonville – Downtown Development Association President Robert Renchik says they continues to work toward making the Main Street program a reality for Ortonville.
Because the Main Street application process is an arduous one, Renchik said members of the DDA have developed committees to focus on calling area residents and businesses to encourage involvement within the DDA.
‘We are working on contacting community members who have shown an interest in being involved, to work toward our goal to apply for Main Street,? said Renchik, who stated with conviction that he intends to see Main Street come in to Ortonville and hopes to see as much community commitment as the program requires.
Committee chairs are Brenda Heffernan, David Bonner, Bob McArthur, and Mary Ellen Spradlin.
