Clarkston Village Players? production of Sybille Pearson’s ‘Sally and Marsha? opens Friday, Jan. 9.
The heartwarming dramatic comedy is about Sally, played by Maredith Zaviski. She is a young mother who moves from South Dakota to a cramped New York City apartment with her two children and traveling salesman husband.
Desperate for a friend, Sally strikes up a conversation with her next-door neighbor, Marsha, played by Cynthia Haaseth. The character is a cynical, wise-cracking native New Yorker. Often compared to a female version of “The Odd Couple,” the women gradually become friends.
Performances are Jan. 9-10, 16-18, and 22-24. For Tickets, email tickets@clarkstonvillageplayers.orgor call 248-425-5842.
