Duane J. Clark, of Metamora, passed away in the comforts of his home on August 7, 2016 with his family by his side. He was 98.
He was born in Pontiac, the son to the late George and Florence Clark, on April 6, 1918.
Duane was a farmer and a livestock dealer for most of his long life. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and had a passion for playing the acoustic guitar ever since the age of 15.
He enjoyed tending to his garden and was active in competition horse pulling.
Most of all, Duane enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Duane is survived by his wife Ella June; son Jack (Rosann) Clark of North Branch; daughter Sandra McNulty of Metamora; son Larry (Gail Kathleen) Clark of Attica; seven grandchildren: Jane, Michael, Suzanne, David, Christine, Nathan, and Erin; 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife Donna Clark; brother Gerald Clark; sister Wanda Maxine Jones; son-in-law Patrick McNulty.
A funeral service was held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home in Oxford on Wednesday, Aug. 10. Michael McNulty officiated.
Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Oxford.
