Author Nate Perkins, who goes by “Farmer Nate,” visited the Addison Township Public Library on June 24.

He read a couple of the children’s books he’s written, then let audience members interact with the animals he brought from Upland Hills Farm.

The kids got to hold, pet and feed goats, chickens and a very fuzzy bunny.
