End of season celebration at library

Clarkston Independence District Library offered a science-themed reading program for children this summer.
The library celebrated the end of the season with a Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party, Aug. 11, with ice cream sundaes, crafts and games.
The library program encouraged children to complete reading logs throughout the summer to earn a free book.
With the district library’s 1.25 mill proposal approved by voters Aug. 5, 5,494-2,564, programs are set to continue.
Free fall library story times are currently registering. See http://indelib.org for more information.
