In the Battle of the Fire Department Christmas Trees six departments got into a little holiday competition by decorating their own Christmas Trees. The only local department competing was from Addison Township. Viewers on Facebook voted up until Dec. 18 for the best tree and Addison Township Fire Department received 1,037 votes – almost 10 times more than the next highest vote-getter.
