GHS dance coach recovering from auto accident

Three fundraisers are being planned for Pam Neff, the Goodrich High School dance team coach who was in a rollover auto accident Feb. 22.
Neff, a single mother of four children, Felicia, 16, Anthony, 11, Cameron, 5, and Tanner, 3, remains in the intensive care unit of a local hospital with extensive injuries. While she is expected to make a full recovery, the process will be lengthy, keeping her from her job at Legends Sports Cafe in Fenton.
‘We are asking the community to please come out to one of the benefit dinners being held to support the Pam Neff Care Fund,? said Courtney Teague, a family friend who has organized the benefits. ‘I think it’s important to help her? she’s very kind-hearted and if this happened to someone she knew, she would step up and do all she could to support them. Financially, it will be very difficult for her with a long recovery.?
The first benefit planned is from 4-9 p.m., March 5 at Bullfrogs, 2225 S. Ortonville Road. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Pam Neff Care Fund.
The second benefit is planned for noon to 10 p.m., March 13, at Legends Sports Caf?, 3235 Thompson Road, Fenton. A buffet style spaghetti dinner will be available, as well as a 50/50 raffle, and several items for a silent auction.
The third benefit will be from 5-9 p.m., March 24, at John’s Steakhouse Pizzeria and Lounge, 8038 S. State Road, Goodrich. At this benefit, several members of the GHS dance team and supporters of Pam will work as waitstaff. Proceeds from tips and donations will be given to the fund.
Oxford Bank, 8125 State Road in Goodrich, has also established an account (The Pam Neff Care Fund) for those interested in making a direct donation. Include the name of the fund on any donations.
Details: Courtney Teague at 810-241-4469.
