Gone green!

Nine Lake Orion Community Schools were recognized Monday at the Orion Township Board of Trustees meeting for reaching ‘Green School Status? though the State of Michigan Green Schools Program, which involves collaborative student and staff efforts.
Projects included paper, ink cartridge and battery recycling programs, along with initiatives aimed at saving rainforests, adopting endangered species and educating self and others about what it means to be ‘green.?
