Oxford Wildcats varsity wrestlers beat Linden 49-24 on Dec. 7, putting the team at 1-0 overall.

Oxford won 10 of the 14 weight classes that evening, with wins coming from Ryan Motala, Byron Schlickenmeyer, Matthew Curtis, Liam Hillary, Nate Call, Sergio Borg, Ryan Miller, Devin Trevino, and Dallas Winkelman.

The team will go up against Woodhaven and Troy at a meet on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Troy High School (4777 Northfield Parkway).
