The Oxford-based 24th Northern Oaks, a group within the Baden-Powell Service Association (BPSA), visited Oxford Township’s new senior center Friday afternoon to celebrate Flag Day.

BPSA members conducted a flag-raising ceremony in Seymour Lake Park, shared facts about the American flag, performed a skit and engaged in some coloring and crafting.

BPSA is a traditional scouting program open to youth and adults of all genders. The goal is to promote good citizenship, discipline, self-reliance, loyalty and useful life skills. – CJC
