Hoopsters 1-1 for week

The Wildcat hoopsters got their third win on Tuesday, Jan 12, after defeating Seaholm High School 72-64.
The Seaholm game was a good game. They are a good team.? We played well together and were able to get some stops at the end to hold on,? said Head Coach Dave Brown. ‘Jordan (Jadan) and Ray (Luvine) had another great game of offense for us.?
Jadan sunk the ball for 22 points and Luvine scored 19 points.
The team was hopeful to keep the win streak against Stoney Creek, but were handed their first league loss with a score of 65-52, bringing the boys record to 3-6.
‘Stoney is the top team for a reason.? They are coached well and have some nice players.? We played tough and competed the whole game,? Brown said. ‘We will continue to work on our game and look forward to competing against them later this season.?
Top shooters were Jadan with 19 points and Jeam Linares with 14.
The Wildcats will tip-off at home against the Dragons of Lake Orion on Friday at 7 p.m.
‘I know Lake Orion will be a tough game versus a tough team,? Brown said.
