Judith Anne (Eckert) Hart of Lake Orion passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and William Eckert and brother Bill. She is survived by children Sheri Hart, Michael (Mary) Hart, granddaughter Heather Hart and sister Nancy (Todd) Doyle.Judy was an elementary teacher for the Lake Orion school district for over 30 years and also taught piano lessons for many years. She loved Michigan history and took her students on Michigan trips every year to share her love of the history of our state.Judy did not want a memorial service but asked that remembrances could be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Oxford/Orion FISH Food Pantry, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), or Leader Dogs for the Blind.Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors in Oxford.
