It was a solid week of wins for the Wildcats Junior Varsity golf team– which chalked up triumphs against Holly and Lake Orion

In their final match of the season, May 25, the Wildcats pulled out a 170-201 win against Holly, the lowest team net of the season for Oxford.

In the first group, Louis Krupa shot an excellent 40, with paring 6 of the 9 holes. Dean Petersen shot a solid 43 with paring 5 of 9 holes.

In the team’s second group, Ryan Cobb and Coleton Campbell both shot an above-average 45.

In the last group, Ryan Hall and Adam Gillespie both shot 43.

On Tuesday, May 23, Oxford pulled out a 176-783 win against rival Lake Orion.

In the first group, Krupa shot one of his lower home scores, 42, with some solid scores which included a birdie on #3. Petersen shot a 44.

In the second group, Cobb shot a 43 with great overall play and some bomb drives. Hall shot 47 with consistent shots but with a couple of tough putts.

In the last group, Gillespie shot a 48 and Travis Durant shot 49. Both made it the first of the season that the whole team shot under 50.

The team ends its season 10-3 overall.
