Claude (J.R.) and Karen Lafnear, of Oxford, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole, to Thomas Joseph McClintic.

Thomas is the son of Joe and Julie McClintic of St. Louis, Michigan.

Heather is a 2012 graduate of Oxford High School and a 2016 graduate of Alma College, where she earned her B.A. in early childhood. She is currently employed by Oxford Schools.

Thomas is a 2011 graduate of St. Louis High School. He is currently employed at Oxford Forge.

A September 2017 wedding in Oxford is planned.
