Kathleen Joyce (Cowan) Shooltz passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2021, at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob).

Kathleen and Bob moved to Oxford in 1968, a community they loved. They were active at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oxford Hills Golf Club, and supported many community services through Bob’s company, Coldwell Banker Shooltz Realty.
She is survived by her children Barbara, Patrick, Thomas and Michael; grandchildren Emily Shooltz (Ben Arons), Elizabeth Shooltz (Lee Gillenwater), Robert Shooltz, Kathleen Shooltz (Ryan Navazio), Peter Kendzierski (Leslie Stahl) and Michael Kendzierski (Helen Lee); two great-grandchildren, Theo and Elliott Arons; many beloved nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Kathleen was born in Chesaning, Michigan, to Lillian and Charles Cowan. She was predeceased by her eight beloved siblings and their spouses.
Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Thursday, December 16 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion on Friday, December 17, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation at the church beginning at 1 p.m.
