With a 22-3 overall score, the Lady Cats varsity softball team ended the season with a 4-0 loss to the Clarkston Wolves in the MHSAA district final June 3.

The loss followed the team’s 3-1 win against Lake Orion at the MHSAA district semifinal that same day.

On May 30, during a doubleheader against Troy, added two wins to its overall record.

In game one, the team beat Troy with an 11-8 score

Kenzie Miller had three hits and two RBIs.

Kaitlyn Bean and Maddie Dinges added two hits and two RBIs each.

Bean pitched five scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts for the win.

In game two, the Lady Cats walked away on top, with an impressive 15-0 score.

Dinges had three hits and six RBIs. Maddie Morris had three hits and four RBIs.

Chloe Allen had two hits and a pair of RBIs. Nicole Kessler added a hit and an RBI.

Emily Butkeweiz and Alex Brown each added a Triple and an RBI. Bean picked up the win with seven strikeouts.
