Lady golfers off to a rough start this season

Despite their best efforts, the Oxford’s varsity Lady Golfers placed last out of five teams in the first OAA White Division League Tournament.
Alicia Kuligowski was the low-scorer of the day with 97, meanwhile Emily Zeliasko, Claire Hufford and McKenzie Chaisson all scored 102.
The girls golf team placed 18th with 420 points in the Farmington Hills Invite, held Sept. 5.
The Lady Wildcat golfers played at Glen Oaks Golf Course with a 72 par.
Kuligowski swung the low score with a 96, followed by Zeliasko, 105; Huford, 108 and Mattiello with 111.
Later in the week, the girls took a 127-151 loss against Bloomfield Hills at Wabeek Country Club.
‘The match was shortened to six holes, due to severe weather,? said Head Coach Gretchen Gabler.
With a course par of 72, Huford shot the low of 35, followed by Kuligowski, 38; DelaPaz, 41 and Zeliasko, 42.
The girls will face Troy Athens Sept. 11 at Sanctuary Lake Golf course, before coming home to face Farminton at the Oxford Hills Golf and Country Club Sept. 15 at 3:30 p.m.
