The Wildcats dismantled Walled Lake Central Saturday afternoon 25-2.
Senior attacks Spencer Petoskey (9 goals, 1 assist) and Garrett Stuk (3 goals and 9 assists) paced the Wildcats for the eighth straight game.
Gavin Fritz notched four goals and five assists, while Sam Urban, in his biggest offensive showing at the varsity level for his career, had three goals and one assist.
Robert Rodriguez picked up two goals and single tallies came from Hunter Lowe, Matt Pullman, Logan Vachon and Max Parsons.
Oxford dominated just about every statistical category by winning the face-off battle 23-3 and ground ball stats 24-12.
The defensive trio of Adam Bell, Tyler Jenks and Lowe gave the Wildcats every chance to win, which includes Hunter Downey and Travis Butler as long stick middies.
On April 21, Oxford beat Avondale 19-0 coming off of its April 18 loss against Rochester High. There were nine players who scored for the Wildcats that day, including Rodriguez, who scored three goals. Parsons, Dryden Calcaterra, Stuk, and Petoskey added two goals apiece, while Vachon and Urban each scored a goal.
The wins bring Oxford’s overall record to 6-2. The team will host Stoney Creek on Thursday, April 27 at 7 p.m.
