Downtown Oxford’s Girlfriends Walk hosted its eighth annual Girls Night Out event last week, which brought nearly 500 ladies to the downtown area.

Shopping, music, raffles, giveaways, and sweet treats were all part of the fun as ladies explored the downtown area and made donations to Career Dress of Oakland County, an organization that helps women in need who are looking to enter the workforce.

“It was a beautiful event,” said Anna Taylor, who is the owner of Pink and Charlie’s and a founding member of the Girlfriend’s Walk. “We rolled out the red carpet for the ladies and they had a wonderful time.”

Over $500 were raised in cash donations for Career Dress and countless professional outfits were donated to the nonprofit organization during the event.
