Brandon Twp – On Sept. 15, the township board approved a bond resolution in the amount of $400,000 to borrow for the development of Seymour Lake Park.
“The public will have a chance to respond, or challenge this after the notice is posted,” said Linda Owen, township treasurer.
A public notice of intent to borrow will be posted and the public will have 45 days to respond, or challenge for a public vote.
Ten percent of the township population, which is 15,000 residents, must petition for the challenge vote.
