Ortonville – At the next required Planning Commission meeting, village resident James Rogers will be sworn in as a commissioner.
On Monday, Sept. 8, the village council motioned to appoint Rogers to a seat that was left empty several months ago.
In a letter of request for the planning seat, Rogers said he has been a active member of the Ortonville community for 13 years, and intends to continue to be involved, for life.
Having been an active Lions Club member and an 18 year member of the management team at RWD Technologies, Rogers said he will combine his experience to further assist in a secure future of the community.
