Louis Richard Hauxwell, born in Oxford, Michigan on February 15, 1942 and died November 11, 2023 at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Louis and Leona Hauxwell. Louis is survived by his children Richard (Ginger) Hauxwell, Kim (Russ) McBride, Kevin (Annie) Hauxwell, Mike (Becky) Hauxwell, Annette (Adam) Spens, Jason Hauxwell and Ashleigh (Brian) Sandy, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Louis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Darlene, daughter Michelle, grandson Michael and sister Delores Schrader. Louis retired from General Motors after 40-plus years of service. He enjoyed camping, winters in Texas, hunting and fishing, and mostly spending time with his family. Visitation was held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Friday, November 17, 2023. Cremation will follow the visitation and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
