Man wanted for questioning about missing credit cards

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying a man recorded on surveillance tapes using credit cards at the Oxford Meijer belonging to a 73-year-old Lake Orion woman.
The man is wanted for questioning regarding two purchases totalling more than $750 made with the woman’s missing credit cards.
On Nov. 15, a Lake Orion woman left her purse containing the credit cards in a shopping cart at the Kroger on Lapeer Road in Lake Orion.
Within hours, more than $335 were charged to the woman’s Master Card and another $417 was charged to her American Express.
Surveillance cameras captured the image of a man with a shaved head, wearing blue jeans and a blue sweat shirt using one of the credit cards Nov. 15 to make a $335 purchase through a self-serve check-out at the Oxford Meijer.
An alert American Express Card representative later informed the woman that a $417 purchase was made with her card at the Shell station in Oxford.
Oakland County Sheriff Detective John Robertson is questioning employees at both Meijer and the Shell station.
