The volunteers from Miracle Quilts are hosting a garage sale on Aug. 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oxford Community Center, 2795 Seymour Lake Road.
Proceeds from the sale will purchase materials to create quilts for veterans suffering from illnesses. Items available include small household items, sewing machines, yarn, patterns, craft items, fabric, books and more.
