Several more appointments were approved for township boards and committees by the Orion Township Board of Trustees at its Dec. 1 meeting.
The board reappointed treasurer James Marleau to a term expiring Nov. 20, 2004 as the board representative on the planning commission. Nancy Archer was appointed to fill a vacancy on the safety path advisory committee, with a term expiring April 30, 2006. Steve Skalnek was also appointed to the committee, with a term expiring April 30, 2004.
Alice Young was appointed to the Union Church Governing Board as a representative with accounting/financial background, being a Certified Public Accountant.
