Residents of Clear and Squaw lakes in Oxford Township held their second annual Fourth of July boat parade on July 2.

“We had 15 boats enter this year,” said Organizer Cindy Wright. “This year, there was an open theme for the boat parade, so individuals could use their creative juices. We really did have many very creative boats.”

The Badanjek family took first place. The McTaggarts claimed second place. The Kowalec family finished in third. Fourth place went to the Kostecki family.
