Nadine Joy Claycomb (nee King), age 89 of Oxford, Michigan passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was the loving wife of 69 years to Thomas W. Claycomb, mother of Bruce (Sharon), Brian and Barbara, grandmother of Timothy (Bridgette) and Ryan, great-grandmother to Evelyn.She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, grandson Adam, her parents of Blaine (Lyle) and Mamie (Mary), and siblings Bud Smith (Grace), Nathaline (Orland Perna), Jackie (Harold Justice), Delores (Bob Perna) and Doreen (William Bates).She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 1, 1935 and graduated from Oxford High in 1953 where she met her husband, Thomas. Nadine was a nurturing mother who also worked at Clear Lake Elementary school for 19 years.Nadine loved spending time with her family and friends and loved to cook and bake which she excelled at.Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Friday, February 7, 2025 at noon with visitation at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment is at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
