On Sunday, August 1, 2021 Nelson Darwin Kage passed away at age of 84 as a result of kidney failure caused by cancer.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Leah Anna Kage and survived by his children, Karen (Rick) Simmers, Brenda (Larry) Dick, Tom (Dawn) Kage. Loving Grandfather of Jaimie (Atom) Young, Kristin (Trevor) Simmers, Chad Simmers, Jeni Hernandez, Jacob (Bryn) Kage, Hannah (Konner) Kage, Stephen and Rebekah Kage. Great Grandchildren, Nathan Young, Franklin Hernandez and Sadie Braniff.
Nelson was very active and still bailing hay at the age of 84. He loved to bowl with his family and friends. He enjoyed his tractor, tractor pulling and his tractor club. He served our country for two years in the Army stationed in Germany.
Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Saturday, August 7, at 11 a.m.. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, August 6, from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday before the service beginning at 10 am.
