Nina May Sausser (French) passed away Friday evening August 24, 2018. Her three children were with her.

Nina was born March 30, 1941 in Oxford to Doris (Bailey) and Harlan French. She was the youngest of seven children.

She married her high school sweetheart, Charles (Val) Sausser, in 1961. After moving around the country, they returned to their hometown, Oxford, in 1992.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Val on May 23, 2017 after 55 years of marriage.

Val and Nina had enjoyed many activities together including golfing, racketball and bowling as well spending time with family and friends. In their later years they were especially happy sitting in their backyard enjoying the beautiful lake view.

In the weeks prior to her death, Nina had a wonderful time working tirelessly in her yard, planting and weeding the flower gardens she loved so much.

Nina is survived by her children Michael Sausser of California, Jennifer (Steve) Rickus of North Carolina, Gina Sausser (Haroon Kareem) of Saudi Arabia, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Nina was well loved by many people. She will be greatly missed by friends and family around the country and the world.
