Oxford’s Boys Junior Varsity Golf Blue team received their first loss of the season to Lapeer with a 181-188 score.

In the Wildcats’ first group, Louis Krupa came in with a team low score 44 and Dean Petersen had a couple of good finishing holes to shoot a 51.

In the second group, Coleton Campbell and Ryan Cobb were in lockstep shooting a 48.

In Oxford’s last group, Travis Durant shot another 48 making it a consistent day for the golfers. Mitchell Essenmacker shot a tough 55 with good short game.

The team is now 4-1 overall.

On Wednesday, May 10, the Cats will meet Stoney Creek at Twin Lakes Golf Club (455 Twin Lakes Dr., Oakland Charter Twp.) at 3:30 p.m.
