Save the date for one of the premier social events of the year as the Orion Art Center hosts its 29th annual gala, The Enchanted Forest.
This year’s gala begins at 6 p.m. March 10 at Paint Creek Country Club, and is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the Art Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing art education and opportunities to the Orion area.
The gala is a semi-formal event open to the public and features a gourmet dinner, cocktail reception, music, dancing, a silent auction, an awards ceremony and a full premium open bar.
The Orion Art Center, now in its 37th year, “brings cultural exhibits, classes and events to northern Oakland County and the center’s annual scholarship program helps students reach for their dreams of pursuing a future in the arts,” according to information on the Art Center’s website.
Early-bird tickets are now available at the Art Center’s website, orionartcenter.org, under the “Gala” tab, or by calling 248-693-4986 during Art Center hours.
Early bird special is two tickets for $160. After Jan. 31, single tickets are $90. – Jim Newell
