Both of the Wildcat bowling teams let out a roar of victory Monday afternoon after competing against Troy High.
The boys varsity bowling team beat Troy High 25-5 that afternoon, sweeping the baker games with scores of 226 and 190.
Leading the way was Luke Meyer with games of 248 and 202. Tanner Cartner shot 256,191, Christian Cartner rolled 227 and 228.
Jimmy Dehmel tossed a 203 and Dean Petersen shot a 202.
The win moves the Wildcats back into first place in the OAA Red division, alongside Troy and Clarkston.
The team is now 8-1 overall.
The Oxford Lady Wildcats also dominated the Colts that afternoon, with a final score of 29-1.
The Cats won both baker games, along with nine of the10 match games held.
Leading the way was Megan Kessler, with games of 202 and 194. Also scoring for the Wildcats was Abby Pappas 206, Deanna Staser 201, Claire Sandstrom 188 and Megan Armbruster with a 179.
The girls remain undefeated and tied for the top-spot in the OAA alongside Lake Orion. The two teams are set to go head-to-head in a championship deciding match on February 9th at Collier Lanes. The match begins at 4 p.m..
The team is now 8-0 overall.
Both teams also traveled to 5 star lanes in Sterling Heights last weekend to compete in the Tri-County Invitational, which resulted in a 10th place finish for the girls team and a second place finish for the boys.
Up next, both teams will compete against Athens High School at Troy Lanes (1950 E. Square Lake Rd.) Feb. 2 at 4 p.m.
