The Oxford Lions Club thanks all of the people who helped make our annual Christmas For The Needy effort a great success! The Club could not have completed this project without the help of the Oxford Leader, the Oxford Meijer Store , the Oxford Mom’s Chatter group, the Oxford Middle School, the Oxford School Bus Garage, American Axle Oxford A.A.M. Division, Advanced Auto Trends, Vaughn Custom Sports, Cub Scout Troop #366, and many individual donations.
The Club thanks everyone for their personal efforts and donations totaling $5,237. This year the Lions Club provided gift cards for a total of 41 households in our community. This number included 35 children, 17 seniors, and 41 other adults for a total of 93 Oxford residents.
The Lions made their distribution on December 17, 2020 out of the Oxford Village Board Room.
