When I think of the future I’m: Happy!
How have you grown as an individual during your years at OHS?: I have grown to be a more open-minded individual and found my way as a person.
What most concerns me about the world is: Social justice and world hunger.
What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?: My advice for incoming freshmen would be to try everything you can while you have the chance. Go to the football games and dances, join the club that interests you, and try out for any sports or musical activities that you want because some day you won’t have the chance to anymore. Make the most of each moment!
My greatest achievement so far has been: being elected President of National Honor Society. NHS is an amazing group of students who value scholarship, leadership, character, and service and I am honored to be elected by my peers to lead and represent the group.
I look forward to contributing to my community by: Giving back in any way I can. I have put on event called Forming Friendship where we provided a christmas party for the foster girls at Crossroads. We brought them gifts, decorated cookies, and got to know all of the girls there. In addition, I co-coordinated a race this past spring called Oxford Brings Awareness Wildcat Race. All the proceeds went to the Autism Alliance of Michigan and it was a great success because of all the members of our community.
