A crowd was gathered in front of the ‘new? Village Hall Sunday afternoon to remember and celebrate the life of longtime resident and former treasurer, and clerk Art Pappas. Pappas passed away earlier this year after battling with cancer.
Shortly after Pappas died, city officials voted to form a subcommittee honor him for his 46 years of service to the community. The dedication included a reading of the City Council Resolution, unveiling of the New City Hall Sign, comments from a friend, and dedication of Art’s plaque, comments from Pappa’s son, Kit.
