Phyllis Ann Jubelt, age 91, of Leonard, passed away on July 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Erick and Anna Stoyk on Jan. 10, 1933, in Detroit, MI. Phyllis raised her own family of five in Lakeville. Phyllis was a proud mother and grandmother; her family time was of the utmost importance. She loved cooking and hosting all of the family events. A jack-of-all-trades in the homemaker profession, Phyllis held many talents. She could tackle any upholstery, ceramic, quilting, and sewing projects. To relax she would disappear into her books. Outside of the family home she was an avid bowler, golfer, and volunteered with the Lions Club. She thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent in bowling Leagues in Rochester and Oxford. Phyllis is survived by her adoring children; Shane C. (Shari) Jubelt, Sandra L. (Bruce) Powell, Steven F. (Cheryl) Jubelt; grandchildren Benjamin Jubelt, April (Mike) Bryson, Grace Jubelt, Bruce II (Jordan) Powell, Matthew Powell, Kaitlyn (Derek) McClenathen, Shane (Tyler) Jubelt, and Amber Jubelt; great-grandchildren Annabelle Jubelt, Elizabeth Jubelt, Joseph Bryson, Sophia Bryson, Olivia Bryson, Shane II Jubelt, and Temperance Jubelt. She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents; husband of 47 wonderful years Frederick Jubelt; son Shawn Jubelt; and six siblings. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors – Bossardet Chapel. A Celebration of Life will take place at Rochester Community House in Rochester on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
