Aug. 25: A 62-year-old woman called Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies to her home located on the 400 block of Sanders road at 3:45 p.m. to report the breaking and entering of a barn that had occurred on her property on August 24, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., while she and her husband had been working in the front yard. During that time, the woman said someone had entered the unlocked barn, opened a metal cabinet, removed oil, a blue bucket, and the cover for a saw. The woman stated she had seen a red/burgundy pickup driving suspiciously slow down their street earlier that day.
Aug. 28: A key ring with three keys was found at Scripter park and turned into Oxford Village police at 11:23 a.m.
Aug. 28: Oxford Village police were called to the crossroad of Pleasant St. and the Polly Ann Trail at 6:30 p.m. to investigate the claim that a blonde male wearing a green shirt and a female wearing a white hat and blue jean shorts were trying to steal a stop sign.
Aug. 28: A man living on the 50 block of Mechanic St. called Oxford Village police at 6:12 p.m. to report suspicious circumstances on his property. The man told police that he had found empty beer bottles in the back of his truck three weeks ago. His wife reported having found beer bottles in the bushes around their home a week later, while gardening. On the day of his report, the man told police he had come home to find a beer bottle in his front yard once again.
