Board Meeting Synopsis

The Addison Township Board; its elected members are Supervisor Pearson, Clerk Bennett, Treasurer Fisher, Trustee Gierak, Trustee King, Trustee Newby and Trustee Senft held meetings on June 19, 2017 and July 17, 2017 at 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard MI 48367. The following action was taken:

June 19, 2017

Approved amended agenda to include as #4 Addison Oaks fireworks display for June 30, 2016 at 10:00 p.m.

Approved the Consent Agenda consisting of May 15, 2017 Minutes, Bills as paid for May 2017, Resolution adopting the 2017/18 Health Care Benefits, Employee Contribution and In Lieu of Benefits, MTA dues $5513.59 and 3 Appointments for 6 year terms to the Fire Board: Patricia Earnhardt, Robert Dewitt and Rick Rinke

Held public hearings and approved the Resolutions for the following Special Assessment Districts; Lena Hill and Burns Hill and Tu Van Trail.

Presentation by Library Board for the proposal to construct a new Library Building at the Township property (1440 Rochester Rd.).

July 17, 2017

Approved the agenda as presented.

Approved the Consent Agenda consisting of June 19, 2017 Minutes, Bills as paid for June 2017 and Appointment to No Haz: Jacob Newby

Held public hearings and approved the Resolutions for the following Special Assessment District; Lena Hill and Burns Hill, Tu Van Trail and Pine Crest Estates.

Authorized the bid and Fire Department expenditure for parking lot seal coating at station one, with Birmingham sealcoat not to exceed $11,079.
