Notice of Adoption of Ordinance

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Leonard adopted
Ordinance 1.013 on August 14, 2023.
The Ordinance amends (a) Section 10.4 to clarify the definition of abuse of an animal; and (b)
Section 18.2 to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of persons and property by
regulating the use all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes in concentration, operation, and to those
areas that are most compatible with such uses
Copies of the Ordinance are available for inspection or for purchase during regular business
hours at the Village Hall located at 23 E Elmwood Street, Leonard, MI 48367-0789.
