NOTICE

A Second Reading and possible Adoption of proposed Ordinance No. 132

An amendment to Article I of Chapter 30 of the Oxford Charter Township Code of Ordinances adding a newly created Section 30-9 for the purpose:

TO PROVIDE A TITLE FOR THE ORDINANCE; TO DEFINE WORDS; TO PROHIBIT MARIHUANA ESTABLISHMENTS WITHIN THE BOUNDARlES OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHLP OF OXFORD PURSUANT TO INITIATED LAW 1 OF 2018, MCL 333.27951, ET SEQ., AS MAY BE AMENDED; TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; TO PROVIDE FOR SEVERABILITY; TO REPEAL ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; TO PROVIDE A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

To be considered at a regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees, to be held February 13, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., at the Oxford Township Meeting Room, 300 Dunlap Road, Oxford, Michigan.
