N O T I C E

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE 67A

Pursuant to the Michigan P.A. 110 of 2006, notice is hereby given that the Charter Township of Oxford Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the Charter Township Hall Meeting Room, 300 Dunlap Road, Oxford, MI 48371. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on proposed amendments to Zoning Ordinance 67A, regarding:

AMENDING THE TEXT OF SECTION 8.1 TO MAKE THIS SECTION CONSISTENT WITH SECTION 16.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE WHICH ADDRESSES ZONING COMPLIANCE PERMITS AND EXCEPTIONS THERETO; AMENDING THE TEXT OF SECTIONS 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.7, AND 11.8 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE THAT PROPOSED PLANS FOR PRIVATE ROADS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE ENGINEERING DESIGN STANDARDS ORDINANCE; AMENDING THE TEXT OF SECTIONS 11.2(B) AND 11.2(E) TO MAKE THESE SECTIONS CONSISTENT WITH SECTIONS 8.1 AND 16.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE; AND AMENDING THE TEXT OF SECTION 13.9 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE THAT PROPOSED PLANS FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN A CONDOMINIUM SHALL COMPLY WITH THE ENGINEERING DESIGN STANDARDS ORDINANCE.

Documents are available for inspection at the Township Clerks Department, during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

The Charter Township of Oxford will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting/hearing. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services shall contact the Charter Township of Oxford, by writing or calling, Curtis W. Wright, Township Clerk, (248) 628-9787, as soon as possible to allow the Township sufficient time to have available the aids and services.
